Prelude

Traditional Orange Blossom Mead

And so the journey begins … A Prelude is often a sign or an event signaling things to come. For our first production offering we decided to make something we enjoy drinking. Prelude is our traditional orange blossom mead. The citrus character is the star of this honey wine, but don’t think that’s all she has to offer. Prelude goes on to serve as the base for a number of our fruited and spiced meads throughout the year.

O.B.B.

Barrel Aged Orange Blossom Mead

O.B.B. (Orange Blossom Bourbon) is our traditional Orange Blossom mead that is allowed to rest in bourbon barrels for an extended amount of time. The months spent in recently emptied barrels adds some additional heat, as well as oak and vanilla from the barrel. To balance the additional alcohol, more honey was added.

Orange in the Rye

Barrel Aged Orange Blossom Mead w/ Spices Added

Aged in rye whiskey barrels with Madagascar vanilla beans and organic cocoa nibs, OitR is our ode to the big beers we’ve grown up in Orange County over the last decade. The result is a semi-sweet mead, with a strong vanilla nose, that drinks like a dessert wine.

B.B.R.V. (Triple Berry)

Session Mead

Blackberries, Blueberries, Raspberry, and a hint of vanilla all join together in perfect harmony to make what one of our fans described as a delicious "berry and vanilla soda".
